My photographic journey...

I have been a photographer since the moment a friend put a Nikon film camera in my hands many years ago. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Memphis College of Art, having also studied at Louisville School of Art and Savannah College of Art and Design.

I have worn many hats through the years, in many fields, which has given me a wealth of experiences to pack in my bag of tricks. Throughout my life I have spent many years working with children in some capacity, as a teacher, a camp counselor and director, a nanny, and now as a Local Coordinator for a high school foreign exchange program. As the daughter of a geriatric nurse I spent considerable time around the elderly, including my parents in their last years. I have served as a caregiver for over 5 years, often helping to guide people through their final journeys, holding their hands as they transition to the other side. During all of these life endeavors I have carried a camera and I hope to continue to do so.
